Isn't technology wonderful. . . People are able to keep in touch so much easier and stay connected in ways like never before. That is exactly the reason for this new blog, to keep in touch. I wanted a place where people could just put in an address and up came the web page and they could start to reading. I am hoping both Mark and I will write in it consistently and let everyone know what all is going on in our lives as we begin this journey together in a few short months.
As of right now, we are in the process of planning a wedding!! We are going to be married on June 14 and believe me, this is both exciting and scary all at the same time. Planning has gone amazingly well and has actually been alot of fun. I knew it would be tedious and time consuming, but thanks to my family, my mom, and his mom it has been relatively smooth and easy. The little things sometimes get me though. . . like what color light pink will I need for this, how will this thing set into this bucket, how will the flowers be tied together, and with what color ribbon will I wrap this stake in. . . lol so yeah I will stop there.
The flowers of choice are going to be calla lillies, hence the picture at the top. . . these are what the bridesmaids bouquets are going to resemble. I am really excited about it. Our colors are Chocolate Brown, light pink, a hint of hot pink, and champagne . A vintage feel is going to be the theme I believe, so if anyone sees any decorations or has any ideas on what can be done, please let me know!!! I want pictures to be everywhere as well. . . There are many things to still get done, but for the most part we are looking good!!
Hopefully Mark will update on this too and it will not be just me!! We shall see haha!! Hope everyone has a blessed day!
